It had serious logic problems. Even as a fable it was confusing. If nobody in the world of the movie has ever heard of the Beatles, how then do those two people who meet our protagonist in act III, know of them - very strange. It was as if Edward Albee or Harold Pinter wrote the script, instead of Richard Curtis.
