Halo Kit

I think that the best thing about the movie was the boys’ friendship. This movie is definitely a kids movie and uses a lot of pretty cheap jokes, but I still had fun watching it with my family. The animation kinda feels cheap and budget and some of the dialogue felt a bit…unnatural. I did like that pacing. But again the thing I found the most entertaining was the boys’ relationship. It’s the only part of the movie where it felt more (yet still not completely) natural, just the way they interact and joke with each other, especially with the cow scenes. This movie wasn’t really anything special and it’s not making my top ten anytime soon, but I don’t feel like it’s really meant to. It’s just a silly kids movie that was fun to watch for the 1 hr and 20 min run time but to practically forget about later.

I honestly loved this movie. From the soundtrack to the art and characters. Miles is so relatable from the very beginning. The tone of the movie was set perfectly and in the end it never strayed away from the plot too much and even with the serious atmosphere it left room for well placed humor. This is such a step up from Sony’s past creations. My dad and brother were the ones who actually wanted to see it. I thought I wasn’t going to enjoy it based on the emoji movie and the like but it turned out to be one of my most favorite takes on Spider-Man. This movie has sense become one of my favorite animated movies to date. 10/10 from me but what can I say, I’m not a professional movie critic, so you’ll just have to experience the movie for yourself. Sorry for my grammar, it was never really my strong suit.
