A great read! I’m at the end of my third reading. I have studied about the places and foreign travellers the author mentions, despite which I find something new or understand an aspect when I read it again. It’s a must read for history lovers and definitely also for those wanting to know more about our history, beyond the basic school level reading on these topics. The language is easy and it doesn’t get boring at any point. At the same time it isn’t merely a fact book or a visitors account. The author goes beyond what he has seen. Would recommend to all!
