The subject is interesting, but the events are not worth a mini-series. The magic that was Band of Brothers does not exist in this series. Without an introduction to the crews, the loss of the planes and people means nothing. So it's just a bunch of B-17s going on missions and blowing up. This is the fault of whoever chose to focus on this bomb group and the lack of writing skills in modern Hollywood. Shows like BoB and Generation Kill introduced large groups of characters in a way that wasn't overwhelming making you feel like you were a silent observer in the Company. This show makes me feel like I'm watching filler clips from a cheap Discovery documentary.

I love this show, so much I watch the whole series twice a year.
