Loved it!!! if you can show the sins and shortcomings of church,(Greenleaf) as if to attack God, then why can't you show the truth about real relationships. Ok he had an extra marital affair, that's real life. Show us the truth and then flip the scrip like Hollywood does with everything else!!!!!!!!!!!

Alesha Kirk well said!!!! I enjoy watching Greenleaf and sometimes become angry over what I see portrayed as church and the characters of this Calvary Fellowship church. No one and I repeat no one on this entire series lives a life of holiness. I did not say perfection but HOLINESS. This is RELIGION IN ALL OF ITS GLORY! THIS IS THE KIND OF STUFF THAT THREATENS THE REPUTATION OF THE REAL CHURCH. We have always been God's church, within a church. I've been a member of the church body for the last 35 years. Of those years I've participated in many ministries within the church.Yes there are narcissistic, ego driven, title-seeking, stab you in the back, jealous individuals in the church that hold leadership positions. but, there are also real loving, real kind and selfless people too. I've only recently, exercised the office of an Elder within the last year. Yes there are many issues that plague the church, why, because people are human and want to sometimes do it their way instead of allowing God to show them the right way. Greenleaf exposes real soul issues that sometimes lie dormant in people in whom we believe to be real believers but instead they are just church-goers. Make no mistake about it,there are people who are led by God who really live lives of Holiness before Him. I only wish there was one on this show, then and olny then will this show portray the real blood bought church.
