Actually a good sequel to a prequel. From charecter development to overall plot, they actually did a good job in moving away from the central character of big bang theory and developing a story beyond Sheldon. Don't get me wrong, young Sheldon was a good show and they explored his back story very well but it was indeed reaching a point of saturation and moving away from all of that and still developing a story worth watching is commendable.
Kudos to the writers, director and actors and ofcourse the rest of the team involved. Great job!
