So I'm a huge theater person and I LOVE Newsies, but only the stage musical version (that is also on disney+ it was recorded on stage). The movie version go so many things wrong especially Kathrine. They replace her with Davey and Les's sister Sarah. I absolutely loved everything about the stage musical, but I didn't like the movie that much especially even the singing wasn't as good. I still can't get over Kathrine not being in it. I'm also pretty sure that Santa Fe is out of place in the movie. This is just my personal opinion. So, pretty much I love newsies but hate the movie. Also they changed some lyrics. I'm just kinda pointing out something that don't matter that much but Kathrine is such a strong character why did they replace her. If you can't tell I am kinda mad about kathrine. Well that all.
