Anaum Shaikh

Yes the drama was meant to be comedic at times and it fell short amongst the serious issues tackled in this movie. But it challenged cultural expectations in a place where these things don't get talked about enough. Those who haven't rated it well may have had their views and values challenged but this is EXACTLY why I loved it. Expect to laugh expect to CRY. It's a MUST-SEE.

SPOILER ALERT: So cheesy and you just don't know what to make of it. Is it a comedy? Is it a thriller? (was NOT thrilling to me at all) Is it a mystery? Certainly I was left with more questions than answers - plot holes are extensively deep. Then the characters don't even match their personalities. A naiive cookie-cutter mum suddenly becomes an excellent detective like what the hell are you talking about??? Another mother almost bankrupt - fakes her own death to secure son's future but after funeral returns to talk to the son continuously - not very good at 'sying' then. Pff don't bother watching. The only redeeming part was Kendrick was mildly entertaining.
