The show introduces some changes right of the bat, but I've come to realize that these changes work very well and help transfer the spirit of the books to the screen without getting bogged down in too much exposition. The music does a wonderful job in setting the atmosphere, and landscapes are so breathtaking that I am immediately transported into this wonderful world. The performances from the cast are strong across the board, and I feel that the characters are really shining through more and more with each new episode. "The Wheel of Time" is a perfect mixture of adventurous fantasy that made me fall in love with the genre, while not shying away from the more serious and darker moments.
