Listen, as an almost lifelong fan of the books who's read them multiple times and listened to all the audiobooks like 4 times (highly recommend), I can fully recommend the Wheel of Time tv adaption. Whilst the first episode felt a little off, it's been wonderful to watch the characters and places come to life (and get substantially more comfortable in their roles). Yes, some of the "adaptions" can be a little jarring for fans that have grown up with the books, but ultimately the core the Robert Jordan's epic fantasy feels intact. That being said, I'm only 4 episodes in - let's hope it just gets better and better from here without pandering too much to a modern PC audience at the expense of LOR-Esque epicness!
