Colin Limming

Saw this film many year ago at The Ritz in Potters Bar. I was good and exciting but possibly rather "gung ho" from the American point of view. My main recollection was of Brian Donlevy crouched over a machine gun firing at the Japanese as the film ended. I enjoyed it but possibly was at an age when I was easily impressed by war films.

Long but interesting. Spent some time trying to name some of the actors. John Wayne played his part as a Western! What Richard Burton was in it for? Also John Gregson?
