I'm about halfway through, and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Much of what other people are saying are perfectly valid criticisms, but none of the clunkiness or whatever has really detracted too much from the experience, at least in my opinion. That being said, I picked it up for the setting and atmosphere more than anything, and that has not disappointed as I am definitely a fan of Lovecraft. I've seen criticisms of long load times, and I honestly haven't experienced this. I am using a PS4 Pro, however.
There are certainly things that could be improved upon on this game. Enemy variety, controls, etc. But I think it's still a solid game, and it is a good length. Also, there's just something I love about running around a haunted 1920-30s New England coastal town that really scratches a certain itch. It's worth checking out, and by the looks of it it will probably be on sale soon anyway, so if you like Lovecraft, might as well give it a shot!
