I inserted people from my own life, from high school, up to now and it just did not work! I was strangely embarrassed for this film. I kind of watched it by accident, flipping channels. But I wanted it to work. It felt contrived and forced. There is an ALL GIRL Post H.S. band named, 'Nipple Confusion. ' That name felt like a reach to be edgy. There is a layer that deals with bullying and homophobia. It too felt unreal..
