It's an absolute mess of a series. If you're trying to show a character being at risk of death don't randomly cut forward several years in the middle of an episode to show them still alive! Don't ignore the most memorable part of the thing you're adapting - ignoring the Thunderchild is like doing a Hobbit adaptation without Gollum - it doesn't make your thing better! Feels like a different script that they decided to make into War of the Worlds at the last minute and as such nothing works and you end up wanting to surrender to the Martians just so this thing will end. Also ends on a sequel hook that we'll never see so we're robbed even an ending. So disappointing.
