It's a great show because they are such a train wreck! Kody does not completely understand what it means to truely love a wife. With four wives, how can there be any true intimacy in a relationship. When you love someone with your whole heart you only need that one person. The wives don't seem to understand this either. They don't have enough self love to understand that they alone should be enough for a husband. It's fake love. I don't believe the women are weak. They just don't love themselves. It's very destructive emotionally. While I understand these people believe the Bible says they should go forth and multiply, they have totally ignored the fact that a marriage is between one man and one woman, which is very clear in the Bible. My take on it. It's a clever manipulation by a religion that assumes a man's worth is greater than a woman's worth. If this isn't the case then the women should also be allowed to have as many husband's as they want. The poor wives have no say in when they can have sex with their own husband. Kody has to be on a schedule and the wives can't ask for sex when it's not their turn. Again, women's needs are put aside so that Kodi can rotate his sexual partners. It's just very soul destroying and any woman who says they are okay waiting their turn are in denial. But hell no, these women are brainwashed and their children will be forever scarred. These children are learning that men should be treated like God's and women are baby machines who should be GRATEFUL for their husbands wanting more wives. I feel this is a psychologically negative way to live while those messages exist.
