As a Christian with no knowledge of the book going in I was angered and felt sick watching this. There was a love story in there but the inspiration was a story from the Bible about Gods unending love. This was a romance novel on a screen that disgusted me to have paid money to see. If the author wanted to raise awareness of the sex trafficking and prostitution in the world I would hope she donates all the money I pray the movie doesn’t make to stop these things. If the author wants to show Gods unending forgiveness and love the amount of time spent on those should have outweighed the graphic and horrific abuse scenes including the audio of children being raped. Do not support this filth.

The show is amazing. It has ups and down real world issues and a glimpse of true humanity. It is great I look forward to every episode. Better than Parenthood and This is Us combined a must watch.
