Sura Azzam

Not only is there nothing fresh about this film, but also it’s basically the same plot-twist repeated enough times to make you wanna rip your head out. All of this terribly acted out by one dimensional and ill-researched characters. It’s clear that the writer has never actually met a young person from London. Now the rotten cherry on top is the cheer amount of racism (of every kind, including a shocking anti-semitic reference to a “pound of flesh“) and misogyny. Overall a terrible movie that could well have been made in the 90s.
