There are some movies you watch in the theater, and when you come home, you keep thinking about the events that left an impression.
With this movie, I canโt recall anything worth remembering. Apart from one character, there was no real character development. Why are they conducting the walk? Why were these guys chosen to participate? Why werenโt there any girls in the walk? People started dying, and after a point, it just became the expected outcome. The characters werenโt developed enough for the audience to actually care about their deaths.
Only one character was given a proper background story, and it was obvious he wasnโt going to survive. The movie clearly wanted me to care for him, but it was so predictable that he would die in the end.
On top of that, I donโt think the movie accurately portrayed what would actually happen if you walked at 3 mph for 3โ4 days continuously.
P.S. The story could have been more engaging if there were milestone-based incentivesโfor example, limited first-come-first-serve rewards like better shoes, food, or bathroom access.
