It's a true story. So many are commenting on unnecessary parts to the story when it's the truth. There is a lot of sex in the film it's pretty uncomfortable watching from the start but if that's what happened then that's going to be in the film. It's acted very well and some of the actors went on to bigger films in the 2010s especially. I am glad to have seen it

Overrated. Acting is poor and so is the story. Kind of reminds me of the film 'the room'

Perverted and pointless Really tried getting into the film but it lacked any real substance. Acting was great but a lot of it was just for shock value and for a film to be talked about imo. The moral I got from the film was that people do a lot of bad shit to achieve something greater and it's usually not worth it. 3 stars

It's ok One of those films where you're waiting for something to happen and it really doesn't. Cool seeing the different Japanese toilets though haha Easy to watch but a very basic storyline which leaves you a bit deflated 2 1/2 stars

Great message through the film of self believe and refusing to die ect but it's just a basically a rip off of a few Quentin Tarantino films and the John Wick films made into one film and (without the smart mind of Tarantino ). As comedians get in trouble for stealing other comedians material , I think it's right that the producer gets a bit of slack for blatantly coping other people work without any originality at all. It's ok nothing like the reviews are giving it and the acting was pretty rough also. Really shocked rotten tomatoes 🍅 are rating it so highly. Regardifng it's only about 90 minutes long it feels slow and predictable. Cinematography is the only real positive. And the protagonist acted well without hardly any dialogue. 2 1/2 out of 5 stars from me

Seen it all before. Acting is ok ,.storyline is dull and predictable. Only positive about the film is the reflection on social media. Really depressing style film only watch if you are a big Cage fan. Ironically I watched this after one of the best films I have seen (killers of a flower moon) .

Unfulfilled potential Had all the right ideas but it came across really slow. Acting was not so good either imo. Like a lot of things these days , it's over hyped. Kids will probably enjoy it for the slow motion stunts but it's really not as good as people are saying ( and yes I did understand what was going on ).

It's not as good as most reviews say. It's a good film the acting is good. It's mostly made up of brands from the time and facts about basketball you may not know. I thought it would be better giving the cast and story being so unique but it came off as pretty boring and predictable if I'm honest. It tries pretty hard to be funny at times and it comes off as unnecessary. Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) is a similar but a better movie in my opinion. Moneyball (Brad Pitt) is about the same level as this one. It's a solid 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. 🏀

Slow Seen it All before Acting is not great

Don't let the amazing reviews fool you. It's dull , pretty depressing , bad acting and a poor script. I wanted to watch the film ages before it was released and the story of Brendan F coming back to acting I wanted to like it but it's not at all a good film. Really disappointed
