There are so many poorly written sci-fi shows out there at the moment. "Sci-Fi written by idiots for idiots" seems to be the current thinking - think ST Discovery, Picard, The SW sequels, and pretty much any Sci-Fi on Netflix (except for a few notable exceptions like Altered Carbon)
Gladly this is not one of them. In fact it's probably one of the greatest Sci-Fi shows ever put together and doesn't receive anywhere near the praise and love it deserves.
Sadly while the "Big Bang" loving "Nerd Culture is cool" jocks are culturally appropriating our genre, shows this great are becoming a dying breed......
