Probably one of the best games I've played, kept me hooked throughout. Certainly clinching the top spot in the horror genre top spot for me. I've loved the darkness of classic horror mixed with the detective aspects which have drawn me even deeper into the story. The game itself is a good mix of action/horror. Gripping gun play and at times a tough challenge. Inventory management really played a pivotol role at times to fight against what the game had to throw at you. The introduction of the investigation gameplay added alot of depth to the world and really grabbed you into everything emerging around you. Alan Wake II's story line was thrilling, provided alot of twists and exciting prospects littered throughout. This sequel built on the solid foundations of the first and exceeded anything I expected. I highly recommend to anyone

Finally, the installment you never wanted is finally here and boy does it live up to the lack of hype. Poor story, poor dialogue and poor characters.
