Keepingit Jazzy

I have just finished reading the first book, Bridgerton: The Duke and I, in the Bridgerton series by author Julia Quinn. Might I just start off by saying how exquisite of a book it was. Quinn did an astounding job in creating a captivating storyline and characters. I appreciate the authenticity of the romance and how sincere the protagonists are. As a minor, I am currently not allowed to watch Bridgerton, but have heard much about it. As a person of color, I was very pleased to hear that there would be diversity in the tv-series “Bridgerton”, produced by Betsy Beers, Shonda Rhimes, Chris Van Dusen, and the many other contributors to making the series a hit on Netflix. I would recommend this book to anyone who takes a liking to romance.
