I mean it's alright and definitely a good time if you haven't played dead space in a while, but the story points are ridiculously similar to the dead space Ip. Like in terms of story it's pretty much a shot for shot reskin of the same story. Isaac is a pilot this time and the main squeeze starts off hating him instead of already liking him. Besides that pretty much everything is the same story wise. Oh except you don't have the cool laser gun that was so interesting it became a symbol for their series. Na instead we get weapons that aren't significant or different from the guns you'd find in any other game! I mean you've got literally all the archetype guns and also a shotgun pistol. The alternative fires for them are cool but out of the 5-6 guns 3 of them have essentially the same alt mode. Again the only interesting one is the swarm shotgun pistol. And apparently that could get missed super early so I feel sorry for anybody that never got to play with the one cool gun. And the attachments! So tired of games adding attachments that change nothing about the user's experience physically, like sure they look cool but they disappear when you stow them and he doesn't even hold the grips after he adds them. Functionality the weapons were great but in terms of in world affect they were a bit lacking I will say on that note I really enjoyed the magnum attachment and the ammo count being on the actual gun. Stuff like that looked cool.
