An Impressive Show, but a Diplomatic Win
While culinary class wars was an incredible show, I believe the final decision felt more diplomatic than deserved. In my opinion, Chef Lee was far more deserving of the win. Throughout the competition, particularly in the second-to-last episode with the tofu challenge, his creativity, precision, and well-thought-out dishes were undeniably impressive. Chef Napoli Matfia didnโt showcase the same level of culinary mastery in comparison.
It seems like the judges awarded the win to Chef Napoli Matfia to inspire underdog chefs and set an example in the culinary world, given that Chef Lee is already a globally renowned and well-recognized chef. Though the show was captivating, the choice of winner left me feeling like it was more about promoting a narrative than truly honoring the best chef.
