As a humongous fan of After, both the series and the books, I can’t help but feel let down by this final part. This movie mainly showcases Hardin’s past and his journey to fixing burned bridges. When it came to him and Tessa finally reuniting, it felt completely rushed. It went from them walking & dancing, to the speech Hardin made, them having sex & the proposal we’ve all been waiting for, and suddenly a few years have passed & they’re married with a daughter and a baby on the way. Overall, the timeline could’ve been improved and I feel as thought we were robbed of the “happily ever after” we’ve all been waiting for.
