Atrocious. Upon reading the plot I knew it wasnโt movie material, but decided to watch anyways. Jordan Fisher is a good actor, so I thought the movie would be good, turns out I was wrong. It skips past โeverything in betweenโ, and goes straight to the coupleโs โlast dateโ before they breakup. No character development, and very cringeworthy with dances, the film doesnโt have any concept of seriousness in the relationship. Like I said, the plot about the end isnโt movie material, couldโve included their relationship throughout the year but no. Netflix, do you think weโre brain dead?
Conclusion: Hello, Goodbye. (Nothing in between.)
TL;DR: Skips the whole relationship during their last year before college, making it boring and rushed. No chemistry between the main leads. To All The Boys Iโve Ever Loved is a way better series than this.
