This book is not an "easy" read. found myself rereading paragraphs just to keep up. it is wonderfully written with both prose & descriptions very believable. her capture of Civil War & aftermath is heartbreaking. the treatment of women at Lunatic Asylum was unexpected. Epilogue actually made me feel good after all the horror in this book. that is a nice touch.

hardly a mystery or thriller. we know early who did it. book doesn't keep u spellbound. mostly a commentary on social media & effects on both families. easy reading & I finished over weekend.
