I love Rocky. It is my favorite movie. The storyline is straightforward and there is nothing confusing about it. We all love an underdog and this movie is such a classic example of it. It just struck a chord with the American public. It won 3 Academy awards, it became an iconic film, and it became an instant classic. And who can forget the theme? To this day it's heard in commercials. The ending is pure genius. Even though the judges gave the winning point(s) to Apollo Rocky was still a winner.
