Yes, I am still watching Yellowstone's second season. I appreciate how well the show is produced and directed. But as I watch each week, I find I am always wondering why any one of those characters would want to belong to that family or be an employee at such a place? Every person in the show is miserably unhappy or a miserable human being. I think it unrealistic how there is never at least, occasional warmth and some genuine affection expressed among family members or (Heaven forbid), anyone is a real friend to someone. A smile is always a sneer, laughter is always at someone else's expense, and every deal is brokered it seems through the daughter's sexual proclivities. I think the writers have to create their characters to be multi-faceted. For all of Yellowstone's stylized production, it still feels like an old B-movie. Only every one here wears a black hat.
