If we take the first half of the movie, this had the potential to be a modern classic, one of if not the best movies that our generation could muster. Then the half way point came… it felt like they stopped taking themselves seriously in any forum. Cinematography went out the window sound design got lazy and too loud, the script went to a disappointing place. I genuinely wonder if they changed directors half way through or ran outa time or something…? They had such an amazing ending set up but instead they figured that they would go loud obnoxious and sadly comically….

By far my favourite anime of all time, i cant explain how its a cut above the rest, its hard to explain, to me its like how red dead redemption 2 ruined other games for me because of how good it is. Same could be said for Torodora
