It's a routine murder mystery but the end was ruined as the backstory for the murder just doesn't make any sense.
An act of self defence whilst exposing a spy during the war would not have been something to cover up. It would be exactly the opposite.
Ironically if it been the other way around and an innocent person was killed by a traitor who then had lived and stayed there it would have made more sense.
