This movie is ridiculous. It is ALSO exactly the escape from reality I was hoping for. In my opinion, not a lot of enjoyable movies are coming out lately, especially comedic ones. This is maybe not a "good" production by some objective standards necessarily, but I found it entertaining and enjoyed watching it, so nothing else really matters. I find Rebel Wilson very fun to watch, and she brings some surprising emotion to even the most absurd movie moments. If you want a stereotypical, nonsensical, as-far-from-reality-as-possible, nostalgic weird high school comedy spoof, I highly recommend "Senior Year."
