It’s a wonderful movie based on Callas’ final days, which all the critics seem to forget. In just a short period of time in the movie, Jolie was able to convey Maria’s passion for the opera with grace and dignity. It also showed that even with the adulation of the world, it is never enough. What matters is that we do what we love, even if only a handful of people truly love us in the end. The musical score was great as well as the cinematography. The movie made me want to know more about Maria Callas.
