One of several Hal Ashby directed seventies classics. Jack Nicholson dominates but there are several interesting choices regarding subordinate characters. Carol Kane, Gilda Radner, Nancy Allen to name a few. Also interesting locales including the Boston Common and the now defunct Combat Zone which was once the red light district of Boston. Episodic and character driven. A must see for fans of this creative period of cinema.
