Far too limiting, does not have anywhere the range of the last several Pokémon releases. It gets boring pretty quickly being forced to stay inside such a small area, I much prefer the adventuring and collecting aspects of the prior games. It was honestly not worth the money, not enough game for the price, and within the first few hours I ran into multiple bugs including falling through ground for minutes before finally resetting at a Pokémon center. The mega battles are much too difficult early on in the game, making it stressful and the pay out is not worth the stress. The day to night switching happens too often and quickly and will reset any battle you are in, to the point that you have to make sure you aren’t in a tough battle near day to night as two times I was a move away from fainting a Pokemon I was battling when day changed to night and reset the Pokemon to full. Frustrating. This is probably a great game for action gamers, but I loved the prior Pokémon games for the adventure and rpg qualities that made it more accessible for gamers like me. I was hesitant to buy this release and I’m honestly sorry I did.
