I think it's entertaining at best, but it shouldn't be associated with PLL. PLL is cerebral, psychological, and nuanced. And frankly, Original Sin is nothing of the sort. Somebody lied to her several times. It feels like they're grasping at strings to make the whole "A" thing work. I'm grateful they tried to bring a part of the PLL universe back on air, but it serves us nothing if it seems wholly alienated from its predecessor. Also, the dimmed-friggin- lights in the high school hallway??? What is that?? And Tabby only communicating with movie titles and references??? We get it; you love filmography! There just isn't much depth to these characters, their reality, or the blood-hungry creature who's suddenly after them and has more similarities with "El Chupacabra" than with an actual human. And I was excited about the new horror theme, but, again, not much profundity of the fear factor. I accept its existence and might even watch the installment, yet I will dissociate PLL and this narrative. I hope they lay the PLL-verse to rest or come up with something consequential, for everybody's sake.
