I came across a reel recently and then wanted to watch the whole movie. As I watched it, idk if it was the acting, or the setup, the screenplay, the dialogues.. everything just touched me to the core.. It's been ages since I got upset over a movie.. and this movie did its job pretty well.. I was so disheartened during the climax. Worth the watch. Heart-wrenching. A 10/10 masterpiece ❤️

The trailer had my expectations way too high.. but the overall horror of the movie seems to fall flat owing to the long distribution of buildups but rather short / no show jumpscares.. the actors did a phenomenal job but the script couldve been better. There are instances of cold horror which is received well by the audience, but that's just too less compared to the overall runtime. The climax was late, satisfactory, but fails to match the level of its predecessors, especially the first volume of the conjuring movies. The overall experience was satisfactory but could've been better.
