Dan Defoy

I've read, and love the books and was really looking forward to the tv series. I'm very disappointed in the first season. It felt very rushed. There was no character building at all. Despite the fact that I know the characters very well from the books, I felt no connection to them in the series......at all. They went from the first episode to the last episode without providing any real content at all. I feel like they just grabbed some writers, producers, etc...who had never read the books, and said here's the basic plotline. Now go make a show. It was not good. I'm giving it a VERY generous 3 stars simply because it's not the worst show I've ever seen.
