Seems to be a money grab and if you don't have a tier 5 or above ship you only play against bots.
I like the gaming mechanics but its stupid the way they force you and basic things like selling a ship or changing/upgrading commanders is more confusing than it needs to be.
Old school Runescape is still the best game in the world
