I have been reading this book series since the second or third grade, so to say I was skeptical was.... an understatement. Over the years I have read the series over eight times, predominantly in elementary and middle school. I enjoyed the first two episodes, although they felt a bit quick. HIGHLY enjoyed the Tunnel O Love change! The arch was also done masterfully, and I enjoyed that through out each episode little things where different and better than in the book. After the book is 20 years old now, and lets face it, they weren't written perfectly. I would say my only real gripe for the show is that I wish the episodes had been longer, everything was just so phenomenal I always wanted more. Finally, episode 8. Episode 8 single handily took this show from around a 3 star-4 star (due to some issues I have), to above ANY rating I could give it. The most accurate feeling is to say it far surpasses 10/10. I am excited to see see how they make the next book and can't wait for more. All of the actors performed phenomenally, especially the trio Walker, Aryan, and Leia, and I don't think they could have cast them any better!
