I loved it and I hated it. I was fascinated at times and I also fell asleep at times. Basically you are a fly on the wall spectator to their working process.
For all of their successes they surely didn't take themselves seriously. I found it odd watching Paul work out, "Let it Be", or "Long and Winding Road", on piano and not one person in the room stopped what they were doing to say, "Paul, what is that, play that again!" I surely would have....I just found it odd. I also wish the subtitles held longer on the screen...I'm not a speed reader.
I came away respecting them more as musicians, and how they could play anything at a drop of a hat. I loved their jams in between the banter. The banter I could not relate to because i'm not in their circle of being in the know.
And yes more complete songs would have been nice to watch and hear, which was frustrating.
