Brilliant film. I'm a bit biased because I grew up watching Brendan Fraser as a kid but still, well worth a watch. This film won't be for you if you like action but for someone who wants something a bit different from the very typical Hollywood stuff at the moment it's grand. It plays out like a play (watching the credits I see why as it's based on one). It all takes place in the protagonist's flat with various characters coming in and out. The story line is strong and all of the actors are excellent. If anyone one of them wasn't it'd take you out of the realism of it but they are so good it makes it truly engaging. Quite an emotional viewing and there were a few tears from those in the audience at the cinema when I watched it with many more sat in pensive silence for a while before departing.
It's one of those films where you reflect on life, relationships, morals, integrity and everything else. There are aspects of the characters that will really resonate with everyone either individually or because of someone you know.
