Absolutely loved this. It tells the story of how people's lives were changed forever in Stavanger after the Ekofisk oil field was discovered in 1969. Beautifully acted, the characters were believable and the twists and turns in the storyline kept me wanting more. Anna stole the show as a strong but vulnerable character struggling to make her mark in what was then still pretty much a man's world. Fantastic music, gorgeous Nordic scenery, romance, excitement, family ups and downs. danger and disaster...what more could you want? Have just finished series 2 and will definitely watch this again!
