The show had me enthralled until the third episode, when it devolved into the same old political tropes that we struggle with everyday. How can there possibly be a faction/party of people who are worried about abortion- when pregnancy isn't even possible anymore? How can there be people championing the idea of maintaining "traditional family values" when husbands/fathers/sons no longer exist? It feels like the show is TRYING to be politically inflammatory and partisan, instead of creatively and thoughtfully exploring how the loss of males would potentially impact our current ideologies. It feels like political click bait. Sad, because it showed such promise in the first two eps.
