Before you blow $17.00 USD on this kit like i just did, note that it is by far, * NOT * a "beginner friendly" kit. The instruction pictures in the booklet and "step by step" are so vague, I had to go on YouTube to look up tutorials to start the starting loop itself. The yarn is so thin and the hook is so small it's nearly impossible to do. After a day and a half, this is how far I managed to get, and can't even tell if it's "right". There are 5 loops I managed to do-- after using bottled water to relax the easily-stressed yarn from my prior failed attempts at making the starting loop. I'm going to try Woobles next to see if that helps. Disappointed because my son really wanted me to make him a Pikachu and this kit makes it look like "anyone can do it". Maybe put something on the box/advertisement about the level of expertise one needs to be able to do it?
