I recently found out about Tell me why through being a fan of Life is strange and was pleased that they decided to incorporate a lot of LIS elements into the gameplay. I personally found the story was engaging and emotional, however some of the interactions dragged out a bit long and the decisions you made felt like they had barely any impact on the story and outcomes. The game had a lot of potential and I appreciate the issues that were brought up and portrayed delicately and I can understand that the idea was to show you that you can overcome trauma without knowing all of the answers but I found this to be a bit frustrating as it made the game feel incomplete in my opinion and the last episode in particular felt a bit rushed. I thought that the game would explain why the mum was holding a gun to Tyler but instead it left a lot of unanswered questions. I also found that I couldnโt be bothered to read through the book of goblins to solve the puzzles so ended up skipping a lot of them. Overall itโs a beautiful story telling game but some parts especially chapter 3 could have been improved in my opinion.
