Super Mario Brothers was so much fun!! The storyline was great and for the most part, it was a family friendly experience. I took my 8 year old daughter and she loved it. There were definitely some parts that would have been scary for a child younger than her. Not often but a few times there was language that we wouldn’t let our kids use. No profanity but words like stupid and idiot. Again, not that big of a deal but worth mentioning if you have small children. The ads before the movie started were more offensive than anything in the movie by far! All in all, I would recommend going to see it. If you can, check it out in 3D. As an adult that grew up in the 90’s, I laughed the whole way through and was probably more excited than my 8 year old.
