A friend of mine recommended it. I looked at the preview, and though I thought it looked a little soapy and shallow, my husband was working late, and so I decided to give it a whirl. I started the series that night and continued into the next morning to the end of the series! Couldn't stop until I finished! Characters were complex and evoked sympathy. Loved it.
