If it wasn’t about an angry black character it wasn’t worth anything, when it comes to even major critics. They are so used to complaining and groaning that they’ve lost the humanity that comes across the big screen of old. This film is a simple amazingly enjoyable movie and has enough emotions to satisfy most. Is it full steam ahead miss daisy? No. Is it a cry fest? No. It’s somewhere in there tho. I’m for one am done with Hollywood and it’s ramming it’s agenda down my throat. None of us should be okay with that. So when gems of decency pop up? Embrace it. It deserves it. As does this film.
