Loved it and I don’t think it was a horror movie. Then again it’s up to interpretation. It was a mix of theology-fiction and some metaphors. Well written for sure even if sometimes it grazed the thin line of BS. All in all I would say “interesting” for sure.

I think watching this movie without seeing the 1986 version does not give it justice. Was very emotional seeing ice (kilmer) so old and cruise as a mature man. I was worried that this movie was going to be a sequence of cliche … I was wrong ( aside from I am very very good). The movie was very mature and ( also) a little nostalgic of the 36 years that passed so quickly. I loved it ! I hope there will be no sequel. This is a fair and elegant good bye to the top gun. This way it will always stay as a “classic”!

Terrible movie … terrible music terrible acting. Just terrible . I think freeman did this movie to pay a couple of bills …LOL
