I think watching this movie without seeing the 1986 version does not give it justice. Was very emotional seeing ice (kilmer) so old and cruise as a mature man. I was worried that this movie was going to be a sequence of cliche … I was wrong ( aside from I am very very good). The movie was very mature and ( also) a little nostalgic of the 36 years that passed so quickly. I loved it ! I hope there will be no sequel. This is a fair and elegant good bye to the top gun. This way it will always stay as a “classic”!
